Your Wedding... Your Day to Shine!

We recommend the Legacy Centre Auditorium for a guest list of 75 or more people.  This booking would include 2 waiting rooms for the wedding party, chairs and a technician for the rehearsal and ceremony.



Can be booked at your discretion any day of the week within the time frame of 8:30AM to 6 PM. Any set-up or clean-up must be completed within the time slot. There may be limited availability to accommodate time frames outside of Saturdays.



Can be booked between the hours of 4:30PM to 11:00 PM for any weddings with the exception of Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evenings when the facilities are pre-booked. The reception must be concluded and cleaned up by 11:00PM.  Your facility rental includes tables, chairs, 3 man hours of setup and takedown and 4 man hours of cleaning.  Any time required beyond that would be chargeable at the rates laid out on our pricing page.



Wedding rehearsals are to be booked for the day prior to the ceremony between 1-4:30PM at a time of your choosing. The bridal party, officiating pastor, and all technicians should be present. It is important to note that we host a separate event in the LC Auditorium on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evenings from 5-10 pm.



If you choose to decorate, absolutely no tape, glue, nails, screws or wires are allowed to be used to attach bows, floral arrangements, or material to the walls, chairs and tables. Decorating can be done after the end of the Wednesday or Friday events (approx. 10 pm) OR the morning of your wedding anytime after 8:30AM. There is a storage room available to store your decorations on rehearsal day if you so choose.

Additional Information:

A booking coordinator will be available for your rehearsal and the day of your ceremony to walk you through the process.  

All decorations and items brought in with you must be removed from the building on the same day as your wedding. We recommend assigning family or friends to ensure all your items are removed. Please see terms & conditions.

We are a smoke-free, alcohol-free, and drug-free facility.  Facility availability is between 8:30 am and 11 pm on the day of your event.

You are welcome to have a dance, providing the music is tasteful and falls within the guidelines laid out in the Terms and Conditions.  If using a DJ, please provide the dance playlist 1 week prior to the wedding.

Your wedding booking includes 1 technician for the ceremony and rehearsal. At your rehearsal you will walk through all sound and lighting needs.

1 week prior to your wedding please provide by email the:

  • Order of Service
  • Music Plan (ex: live, spotify playlist etc.)

If you would like a technician at your wedding reception to run sound, a media presentation or a dance playlist, an additional charge with a minimum 4 hour booking @ $50/man hour will be added.   You will need to provide any playlists 1 week in advance as mentioned earlier.    

If you are having any media presentations at the ceremony or reception you will need to provide a volunteer and a laptop with an HDMI connection cord to run it.  Our technician will do any hookups required.

Any additional requests, such as live streaming, would be an additional charge of $50 per man hour with a 2 hour minimum time frame.

We invite you to use our Preferred Vendor for Catering and combine your catering payment with your booking payment.  Our caterer is approved and tested.  Their rates are comparable to other similar firms in Central Alberta.  We will add a 10% Admin Fee to the caterer’s invoice for facilitating this service.

Alternately you could use a caterer of your choice and handle payments directly.   Please be aware that Home Church does not currently have a Commercial Kitchen, but we can provide a prep room for your caterer to lay out his prepared meals.

Marriage Certificate Information

Prior to your wedding you'll need to get a marriage license from any registry office. You must apply together for the license. This license will be completed by you and the Pastor the day of your wedding. You can read up more here;

After the ceremony

  • The person who performs the marriage ceremony keeps the Marriage Licence portion of the Registration of Marriage/Marriage Licence form.
  • The person who performs the marriage sends the Registration of Marriage portion of the Registration of Marriage/Marriage Licence form to Vital Statistics within 48 hours of the ceremony for registration.
  • The Registration of Marriage is a legal document. It becomes the official record of marriage and is permanently archived with Alberta Vital Statistics.
  • The information on the Registration of Marriage is used to create governmentissued marriage documents.

You can then request a copy of your marriage certificate from any registry office.

Payment Information

After we receive your booking form, we will confirm your booking. Upon confirmation of your booking you will receive a contract from us stating the total fees for the facility booking.  We require a 50% initial deposit and the remaining balance 1 week prior to your event.

If we are facilitating a caterer for you, you will need to select your menu and give a tentative number of people 2 months prior to the event date.  An invoice will be prepared based on your selections and numbers and a 50% deposit of the anticipated cost will be required prior to any order being placed for food.  Final numbers must be submitted 2 weeks prior to the event.  A final invoice will then be sent and the balance for the booking and catering must be paid 1 week prior to the event taking place.

We accept: Cash, cheque, debit at the Home Church office.  Please bring a copy of your contract or invoice.  For Credit card payments you may call the facility Bookings number at 587-797-4070 or pay in person at the Church office.

E-transfer (email address for e-transfer is accounting(at) is available by email. If choosing to send an e-transfer please write 'facility rental and the name of the booking' in the memo section.

You will be asked to agree to the following terms and conditions when you are completing your Wedding Booking Request Form:
